Special Order

Watch Repair UK are not responsible for the delay of a service or repair caused by the delay of parts on back order with manufacturers or suppliers. Not all watch parts are available readily to pick to order, sometimes parts will fall outside of a manufacturing production run and are special order. The delay of you repair or service in these cases are subject to manufacturers timescale and out of the control of Watch Repair UK Ltd.

Special orders require advance payment at all times, are non-cancellable and are not refundable.

“Obsolete parts” means parts are no longer manufactured and not feasible to manufacture in small numbers as the cost to manufacture in small numbers is not feasible.

Guarantee

All repairs and services carried out by Watch Repair UK Ltd are covered by a 1 year guarantee. The 1 year guarantee does not cover accidental damage, wear and tear i.e crown thread striping, anti-reflective glass coat wear and/or any repairs or services carried out by third parties. Any intervention including opening of the watch by you or any third party including other Watchmakers or Watch Professionals whilst the watch is under guarantee by Watch Repair UK Ltd will result in the guarantee provided by us void and no liability will be accepted by Watch Repair UK Ltd. By being a customer of Watch Repair UK Ltd you agree to these conditions.

Battery Guarantee

All battery replacements are covered by our 2 year guarantee. The 2 year guarantee covers the battery only and does not cover seals or water entry caused by user error including water/moisture ingress through the crown due to not having the crown screwed in place. Any intervention including opening of the watch by you or any third party including other Watchmakers or Watch Professionals whilst the watch is under guarantee by Watch Repair UK Ltd will result in the guarantee provided by us void and no liability will be accepted by Watch Repair UK Ltd. By being a customer of Watch Repair UK you agree to these conditions.

What we collect

Demographic information, such as return address and postcode.

What we do with the information we gather:

When you send your watch in for a repair/service, we collect personal information purely to contact you about your watch repair; to know where to send your watch when the work is complete and to personalise your invoice. We use a third-party provider, Quickbooks, to store this information. Quickbooks is also governed by GDPR regulations and is not allowed to share your personal data.

You are entitled to view, amend, or delete the personal information that we hold. Email your request to Alexis, our Services Manager at repairs@watchrepairuk.com.

Live Chat:

When using Live Chat to enquire about a watch repair or service, we will use the information to provide to gather and process data during the chat session and to email you a quote if you consent to this. By using our live chat facility, you agree for the data provided via chat to be processed by Watch Repair UK Ltd for the purposes of providing support in relation to your watch repair enquiry.

Google Analytics:

When someone visits www.watchrepairuk.com we use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.

From time to time, our website may contain links to other websites of interest.
